- The "stripping" has nothing to do with the number of colors on the screen.
- 32 color screens are as stripped as 256 color screens. The 4 least order bits
- of the red,green and blue values are removed. I.e. you are limited to a
- 4096 color palette instead of having a 16M color palette.
